CONSTRUCTION OF WATER SUPPLY AND SEWERAGE SYSTEM

Within the regulation of construction land for 2010 to the Palilula Municipality went from the city budget the largest funds for this purpose. After conducted the proceedings of the selection of the most favorable bidder for realization of works from the Program, of Public Enterprise Directorate for City Land Development is during the month of August concluded a number of contracts for works on construction of water supply, sewerage system and paving on the territory of Palilula Municipality. So it is with “PZP” Nis concluded a number of contracts of construction of driveways in following streets of Palilula Municipality: in Novoprojektovana street across street of Milos Crnjanski, will be constructed street length 150 meters.

BLATNIK`S PALILULA – „Light the pipe“

"Featured artist“, architect, cartoonist, painter printmaker, designer and writer, Aleksandar Blatnik, who lives and works in Nis at the Institute for Cultural Heritage Preservation, in the accompanying program of 45th " Film festival "promoted the cartoon with the theme" PALILULA-Light the pipe“, 45th Film festival Nis. This work, which was used as an illustration of the matches that are shared to visitors and guests of the Festival, in a symbolic way explains the concept of a possible origin of the name „palilula“,said the author. Blatnik is one of the greatest living cartoonists of Serbia, a member of ULUS, has over 400 group exhibitions at home and abroad and over 30 solo exhibitions in prestigious galeries in Serbia and abroad.

45th FILM FESTIVAL STARTED

The ceremony of handing the keys of  the city to the actors and spectacular firework, on the Summer scene in the Fortress in Nis opened the 45th Film festival. By tradition, the Mayor of Nis, Mr. Milos Simonovic, symbolically handed over the key of the city, to this year jury president, actress Ljiljana Dragutinovic. Before the official opening of the Festival actors and guests of the Festival gathered at the traditional reception at City Hall, from where all of them walked to the Fortress.Film opening ceremony of the Festival in Nis, was attended by Ivica Dacic, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs and Nebojsa Bradic, Minister of Culture. Of the 14 films in the official program, the decision of the Council of the Festival will have four of its projection in the hall of the Club of the Military of Serbia.

FESTIVAL INVESTS IN RECONSTRUTION OF SUMMER STAGE ON BUBANJ

In the Palilula Municipality, was signed an agreement on business-technical cooperation of interested parties on the reconstruction of the Summer Stage on Bubanj, which, as announced, from next year will be new opportunities for developments within the Nis Film Festival. This idea is, as the press conference stated, brought Prof. Dr Igor Novakovic, president of Palilula Municipality and president of the Council “Film festival” and Srdjan Savic, director of the Cultural Centre of Nis and of this film event. Beginning of the project is verified by signing the contract, which is in the name of realized signed in Slavoljub Vlajkovic director of Public Enterprise “Nis stan”.

CARAVAN OF HEALTH THIS WEEK IN KRUSCE
